End time Technologies There are quite a few technologies that do have a very interesting coincidence with scriptures. We will be seeing few of the technology that the Bible might be pointing to as a sign of the times we are living in. Daniel 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

One of the amazing verse in the Bible that how times would be before the end of the world. Here Daniel is asked to shut up all the prophecies and seal the book for the end times. The end time will be when people run to and fro or in other words people travel a lot from one place to another and knowledge shall be greatly increased.

Travel will increase in End Times :

None of the generation that has lived previously can claim that they have stepped outside and have landed in another place apart from earth. This generation was that historic generation to step out of earth and land on the moon.

Also in terms of transport if you see all the previous generation before the end of 18th century it has always been on horses, by walk, chariots and few other mode of transport, none of the generation can claim the inventions that this generation has seen in terms of locomotives and airplane. The 19th century generation is the one that has dominated the skies in terms of transport, things that the earlier generations could have probably dreamed of.

Knowledge will increase in End Times :

Another major step that makes this generation stand out from the rest of the previous ones is the amazing leap of technology in terms of communication.

The earlier mode of communications were basically through smoke signals or delivering messages through men who had to travel on horsebacks and other modes to deliver a message from one place to another. The satellites that rule the space above the earth are beyond the imagination of any previous generation that delivers message from one side of the earth to the other side with accuracy and lightning speed.

Computers the buzz word of the 21st century. The things that computer could do are beyond what a human brain can comprehend. Computers that can process a billion instructions in a second are truly way beyond what the human brain can handle. Computers are in fact well placed to fulfill the prophecy we see in revelation.

The Mark of the Beast - 666 :

Revelation 13:15-17 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

As per the above prophecy anyone who does not get this mark cannot buy or sell. 100 years ago, even 50 years ago it would have been literally impossible a person like Antichrist to make everyone in the world to receive his mark and control the world. But today – “it is possible “.

The world has the technology in place.

We are not sure how many more of these inventions would play a pivotal role during the time of tribulation to control the population, but what is already in existence gives us a fair idea about how technology could control mankind.

Near Field Communication:

What if a technology comes tomorrow in such a way that the card is not carried by us but implanted within us which cannot be duplicated or stolen? Won’t we accept it for our own benefit? And what if this bio implant carries a unique number as in the credit card or debit card, will the world mind it? Such a concept is already being tested. Smart Cards : A new technology is being introduced HANOVER, Germany -- A smart multifunctional personal identification card is being shown for the first time at CeBIT international trade fair attended by hundreds of thousands where many global companies make their most important product announcements.

Developed by the German company Giesecke & Devrient, the card uses the biometric characteristics of a fingerprint. The card is also planned to include digital signature, driving license and payment functions.

India: India has designed its own smart card version which fuses together various cards such as the ration card, driving license, voters card etc. This Project was launched by creating a apex body known as the “Unique Identification Authority” and is headed by a eminent citizen Mr. Nandan Nielkani former CEO of Infosys.

Macao: The population of Macao a country in Eastern Asia will be issued over the next four years with smart “Citizen Cards” from Giesecke & Devrient (G&D). A total of 540,000 citizens of the city-state will receive new identity cards each equipped with a chip that incorporates a number of functions. The new identity card is mainly aimed at speeding up border controls.

In Macao, reader terminals will be installed at the frontiers and in public buildings, and the police will be equipped with mobile terminals to read the smart card information. Each terminal will be able to check the fingerprint and will have a specific key that allows it to access only clearly predefined data areas.

It could be the ultimate in political control — but it won't be patented in Germany. German media outlets reported last week that a Saudi inventor's application to patent a "killer chip," as the Swiss tabloids put it, had been denied.

The basic model would consist of a tiny GPS transceiver placed in a capsule and inserted under a person's skin, so that authorities could track him easily.

Model B would have an extra function — a dose of cyanide to remotely kill the wearer without muss or fuss if authorities deemed he'd become a public threat.

The inventor said the chip could be used to track terrorists, criminals, fugitives, illegal immigrants, political dissidents, domestic servants and foreigners overstaying their visas.

"The invention will probably be found to violate paragraph two of the German Patent Law — which does not allow inventions that transgress public order or good morals," German Patent and Trademark Office spokeswoman Stephanie Krüger told the English-language German-news Web site The Local.

Robotics & Artificial Intelligence :

An image that could speak and kill those who do not worship it. Something the other generations possibly cannot think about unless there are evil spirits which could possess an image and give life to it, since we are not aware of anything like that let us discuss technologies that can probably fulfill this.

Artificial Intelligence is a byword for computers. Computers function with artificial intelligence, the ability to take in the information provided to the computers and compute the necessary solution is done by the artificial intelligence or the code that is fed to the computer hardware to perform it.

In other words the hardware is a lifeless piece of material but when the proper codes are fed to it and it is powered by some external source like electricity or batteries it comes to life and it can outperform the human brain that invented it without breaking sweat. John McCarthy who found the word artificial intelligence defined it as “the science and engineering of making intelligent machines.”

Robots have a scary possibility of fulfilling the scriptures. Robots are lifeless objects until a power source to kick start them is used to bring them to life and once the power source activates the numerous chips and electronic circuits in them the software or the instructions stored in them take control of a robot’s activities and make them perform specific roles. Robots are safe until they can do only what they are instructed to do, but the word artificial intelligence takes a whole different meaning when its other definition in the field of science is taken into account which is “the study and design of intelligent agents.”

The scientists working in the field of cybernetics and neural networks are trying to understand the way our brain and neurons (the cells which are responsible for triggering actions in the body through the brain) so that they can input the codes necessary to make the artificial agents think and act like humans. Only time would reveal the rest of the mysteries that is about to be fulfilled before our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ sets up his rightful kingdom on earth.
